Cost Breakdown
Summit has 14 bedrooms for 16-17 members. Three of the rooms (4, 6, and 7)* are double occupancy. Members are responsible for paying rent on the 1st of each month. Fortunately, the cooperative nature of our home helps keep costs low. Monthly rent is composed of three fees:
- House Rate is set at $395** for all members. This fee includes utilities, high-speed internet, phone, waste disposal, cleaning supplies, parking, and a fully stocked kitchen.
- Food Charge is set at $84** for all members. This fee includes 5 house dinners that are offered Sunday-Thursday and numerous pantry staples such as rice, beans, flour, sugar, pasta, potatoes, onions, garlic, spices and condiments, yogurt, and more. Members may not opt out of this charge. For sustainability, we try to purchase in bulk and from local vendors with ethical trade/employment practices when possible.
- Room Rate ranges from $0-$381** depending on the room size and whether the room is single or double occupancy.
*Room 7 may be rented as a single room. Rooms 4 and 6 can potentially be rented as single rooms, but need house approval first.

Rooms
Bedrooms are not necessarily furnished, so new members should be prepared to provide their own furniture. We may have some furniture available but this is not guaranteed. Summit is a smoke free house. No smoking or vaping is allowed indoors at any time.
